Deadlock Bebop Guide: Hook Combos & Build (2026)
Last updated: June 3, 2026
Nothing in Deadlock feels better than landing a cross-map hook and yanking an enemy carry straight into your team. Bebop is the highlight-reel pick hero — a robot who grabs a target, bombs them, and deletes them before their team can react. He's not in the top tier right now, but a good Bebop singlehandedly decides games, and learning the hook on deadlock.io is one of the most satisfying skills to grind.
Deadlock.ioQuick answer: Bebop is a pick hero: land Grapple Arm (Hook) to drag a target out of position, then chain Sticky Bomb, Exploding Uppercut and Hyper Beam to burst them down. He has no mobility, so positioning is everything.

His abilities
| Ability | What it does |
|---|---|
| Launches a hand that pulls the first character hit toward you — enemy or ally. His signature skillshot. | |
| Attach a bomb that explodes for AoE; hitting heroes permanently stacks bonus bomb damage (the scaling build). | |
| Knocks nearby enemies up and reduces their fire rate — combo glue (uppercut, then re-hook). | |
| A sustained energy torrent that melts a hooked target or zones an area. |
The combo & build
Hook → Sticky Bomb → Exploding Uppercut → (re-Hook) → Hyper Beam. Hooking a target out of the air after the uppercut is the high-skill delete.
- Early:
Sprint Boots,
Mystic Burst,
Trophy Collector - Core:
Warp Stone (covers his no-mobility weakness),
Surge of Power,
Echo Shard (double Hook/Bomb) - Late:
Spirit Burn,
Escalating Exposure,
Superior Cooldown
Ability order: max Sticky Bomb first for the scaling-damage build (or Grapple Arm first for the range/playmaking build); take Hyper Beam whenever available.
⚠ Heads up: the old "self-bomb" mobility tech was removed in early 2026 — ignore guides that mention it. Bebop sits below 50% win-rate in the current mobility meta, so when Hook is on cooldown, play safe.
