Tips for Completing Mass Effect: Andromeda - Allies and Alliances # 33
Eos: The Third Monolith
The last monolith is located in the east. To get to it, you have to break through the kett. You're going to have a bit of a fight here. You will also get to know the Dragon Krogan, who will later join your team. You will reach the monolith through the base zone.
You will see again in the corner of the screen that you need to find two characters, so get to work. Run the scanner to see where the yellow cables lead. This time we are dealing with a simpler scenario, because you can jump on the glyph pillars faster without activating the ladder.
With the third monolith, you can easily jump on each pole from the pole standing next to it
Go to one glyph and scan it, then do the same with the other. Now all you have to do is go back to the console and activate it. This time you don't even need to solve the puzzle with the code and symbols - the monolith is activated and the entrance to the crypt of the Forsaken will be marked on the map.
After scanning the glyph to the left of the center console, follow the second cable and use the next console next to the rack again to remove the pillars from which you will climb higher. Here, however, you cannot jump directly onto the glyph pole because the surface is too steep - you scan the glyph while standing on poles protruding from the ground.
After scanning the two glyphs, return to the center console and launch it to begin the decryption process. Now you have to place the correct symbols on the board.
After placing the symbols, confirm the combination to activate the monolith. You have just learned about the most common method of activating monoliths on subsequent planets, which is often associated with the search for glyphs and a puzzle.
Map of the Feld: chests, bases, caves, secrets
Learn the secrets of the VOELD map so that you don't miss important places.
Voeld is one of the planets in Mass Effect: Andromeda, where it is always winter, and growing all plants here is impossible due to weather conditions. This characteristic globe, however, is important for the entire Andromeda Initiative, because parts of the glacier can be turned into water, which is very necessary for the success of the mission.
Below you can see the full map of the planet Voeld, on which the most important places and elements are marked. If you don't understand any marks, use another page of our guide: marks and icons on the map. The chests marked in pink hide a lot of useful items that can especially help you at the beginning of the game.
Voeld Map - Items, minerals, monoliths and more
Voeld also offers many places where you can extract valuable raw materials. We write more about this process about raw materials and minerals: how to mine, what they are used for.
Moving between points due to the large size of the Voeld planet is more convenient when using Nomad. However, over time, when you discover more transmission bases, you will be able to use fast travel. Why settle for anything less than the best?
