Provides a direct reading of string height in a grand piano. Magnetic indicator spindle attaches to strings, even heavy wound strings, for a hands-free reading. Rule is scaled in 1/32 inch increments. Accurate readings can be taken in a few minutes with no transfer errors. Will also take plate height readings.
